Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Publié : Mar-19-2022

The Holy Father is encouraging dioceses around the world to join him in prayer for peace and for the entrustment and the consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord: Friday, March 25, 2022.

On Friday, March 25 at noon Fr. Paul Dobson will celebrate Mass at St. Joseph at the same time Pope Francis will carry out the consecration (during Daylight Savings Time this aligns the Eastern Time Zone with 5 p.m. Rome time). Please note that we are having adoration with Exposition and Benediction on Friday March 25 from 9am-12pm.

At St. Michael’s Cathedral Basilica, Cardinal Collins will celebrate the 12:10 p.m. Mass and pray the consecratory prayer.

Please continue to pray for a peaceful resolution to this conflict. The Archdiocese of Toronto has launched a relief appeal to support the Ukrainian people, who are suffering from widespread violence and this humanitarian crisis. If you would like to make a financial gift, it will fund relief projects through the Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA) and refugee resettlement efforts through the Office for Refugees, Archdiocese of Toronto (ORAT).
