INFORMATION & PARENT REGISTRATION NIGHT FOR 2024

CONFIRMATION: FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 30TH – 7:00 PM

TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD FOR EITHER SACRAMENT PLEASE BRING:

A device such as a cell phone to register with online
A copy of your child’s baptism certificate
A copy of your child’s birth certificate
$50 in cash or cheque (payable to St. Joseph Parish)

Confirmation 2022-2023

Registration for children wishing to receive First Holy Communion or Confirmation in 2023, is closed. Registration for 2024 will begin next fall

For children baptized Roman Catholic that attend one of our parish schools - OR - live in our parish boundaries - OR - attend our parish regularly. These children are typically in Grade 7, but we are also accepting children above Grade 7 that have not completed their preparation or received this sacrament yet.

You must complete the online registration for and deliver the required documents and fee before October 31, 2022, in order to have your child fully registered to receive his or her sacrament this year.

About THE MARK CONFIRMATION PREPARATION Program

We are pleased to announce that confirmation preparation will be returning to an in-person format. There are 6 total sessions to be completed. If for any reason a session is going to be missed, please contact our Sacramental Coordinator, sacraments.stjosephmi@gmail.com, to make alternate arrangements. Confirmation retreat and rehearsals will take place later in the sacramental year. Please see below for more details.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Please follow these steps to register:

1) Before starting the online form, make sure you have a physical copy of the child’s

“Birth Certificate” - OR - “Live Birth Papers”
AND “Baptismal Certificate.” If you cannot find the child’s Baptismal Certificate, you will have to contact the baptismal parish (even internationally) to provide this document.

2) Registration for children wishing to receive First Holy Communion or Confirmation in 2023, is closed. Registration for 2024 will begin next fall

3) Drop off the following items in the main office or the secure dropbox of the parish, located at the rear of the church:

*** DO NOT INCLUDE ORIGINAL COPIES – Please send copies ***

the registration fee of $50.00
(Cash - OR - Cheque payable to “St. Joseph Parish” Only. No other forms of payment are accepted at this time)
AND a copy of the “Birth Certificate” or “Live Birth Papers”
AND a copy of the “Baptismal Certificate”

in a sealed envelope marked as “Confirmation Registration” with the “Full Name of the Child”. Do not give us the original documents because they will not be returned. All items must be received before October 31st, 2022, in order for your child to be registered for his/her Sacrament of Confirmation this year.
