INFORMATION & PARENT REGISTRATION NIGHT FOR 2024

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION: THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 28TH - 7:00 PM

TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD FOR EITHER SACRAMENT PLEASE BRING:

  • A device such as a cell phone to register with online
  • A copy of your child’s baptism certificate
  • A copy of your child’s birth certificate
  • $50 in cash or cheque (payable to St. Joseph Parish)

First Holy Communion and First Reconciliation 2022-2023

Registration for children wishing to receive First Holy Communion or Confirmation in 2023, is closed. Registration for 2024 will begin next fall

 For children ages 7 or older who attend one of our parish schools and have been baptized Roman Catholic.

We are also accepting children above Grade 2 that have not completed their preparation or received this sacrament yet. 

 If your child has NOT been baptised into the Catholic Faith you can still register your child but they must be baptized before receiving for First Holy Communion. Please contact our Sacramental Coordinator by email at sacraments.stjosephmi@gmail.com.

 Children not in our parish schools but live in our parish boundaries - OR attend our parish regularly will need to do an in-house catechism program on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. To register or additional details, please contact Marie Morrison at 905-821-9012

For our Parish School Program we are pleased to call on our friends from HopeStone Catholic Formation to present this take away program for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.  The content is pre-recorded (not live) and will be released every week starting the First Week of October 2022.  In this way, you will be able to work through them at any convenient time on a weekly basis.
